Key Features
Material Integrity: Made from Type I, Class A borosilicate glass compliant with ASTM E438 and ISO 3585, ensuring minimal leaching and superior resistance to acids, alkalis, and organic solvents across pH 0–12. Sealing Performance: Each flask is paired with a precision-ground glass stopper featuring a 29/32 conical joint, delivering a leak-proof seal essential for containing volatile iodine vapors during prolonged reactions. Graduation Clarity: Permanent white enamel markings provide clear, fade-resistant volume indicators—ideal for approximate measurements during sample preparation. Thermal Resilience: Withstands thermal gradients up to 150°C and is fully autoclavable at 121°C and 15 psi without distortion or stress cracking. Traceability: Every unit is laser-etched with a unique serial number for batch tracking and quality assurance compliance.
Available Capacities
Our iodometric flasks are offered in five standardized volumes to suit diverse experimental needs: 50 mL: Compact design ideal for small-scale titrations; stands 105 mm tall with a 55 mm base diameter. 100 mL: Balanced size for routine lab use; height of 125 mm and base diameter of 60 mm. 150 mL: Optimized for mid-volume analyses; measures 140 mm in height with a 65 mm base. 250 mL: Industry-standard capacity for most iodometric procedures; 170 mm height with 75 mm base. 500 mL: Large-volume option for high-throughput testing; 210 mm tall with an 85 mm base. All models feature a consistent 29/32 ground glass stopper interface for compatibility across sizes, except the 50 mL and 100 mL variants which use a #19 stopper, while the 150 mL, 250 mL, and 500 mL use a #22 stopper. The 500 mL model includes an integrated liquid-seal funnel neck to enhance vapor containment during extended reactions.
